We are committed to ensuring your privacy. At customer data is a valuable part of our business and so we protect it and do not sell it on. When you use our site and make a purchase with us, we will collect some data from you, such as your name, address, payment information and so on. We need this information to fulfil your order, and its all stored on secure servers and treated as confidential.

If you are just browsing the site, we will also collect some anonymous information about how you are using it, such as what pages you are looking at and how in general users make their way around the store. This helps us improve the service we offer you; but we are unable to personally identify you and your visit from this data, we use the data in aggregate form to make decisions about the site. This tracking is anonymous and your privacy is not affected.

Our Cookies

To be able to use the site fully and to do simple things like adding a product to your basket, your browser will need to be able to accept cookies. These are tiny text files stored on your computer which do not contain any sensitive information. To restrict cookies from being stored on your computer, use can use your browser settings. Pressing Ctrl+Shift+Delete will work in most browsers, but please note that if you choose to restrict all cookie storage, the functionality of our and most other sites will be affected.

Awin, Affiliate, AW1xx This helps us see how you found our website, and reward some external websites for sending you our way.
Cbar_rules, Cbar_abt_1, Cbar_sess, Cbar_lvt, Cbar_exp These cookies allows us to deliver you product recommendations that we think you would be interested in. The recommendations come from what other users with similar on-site browsing activity to you have bought or looked at.
Frontend This cookie enables the basic funationality of using our site, such as adding an item to your basket and knowing if you are logged in or not.
Loc, This cookie is placed for our social bookmarking partner’s (AddThis) widget to work
Tsession We have a number of helpful product videos on the site, this cookie helps us analyse the performance of them.
_utma, _utmz These cookies enable Google Analytics to run on our site. This helps us understand the visitors that we get on our site, and collects information like visitor numbers, which browsers are used and shopping habits on our site. The data collected is anonymous and is only used within and selected agency partners.
_utmx, _utmxx We always want to make sure your experience on the site is the best it can be. These cookies power Google Website Optimiser, which allows us to so different versions of the same page to different people to see which version works best.

How to manage and disable cookies

If you choose to disable cookies on your computer it will mean that some of the most basic functionality of the site will not work, and you will not be able to place an order with us. To disable them, in your browser menu you will be given the option to do so. This is normally in the 'settings’ or ‘preferences’ menus.

If you would like to simply delete the cookies from your browsing session, for example after visiting the site, pressing Ctrl+Shift+Delete will open an options box in most browsers to allow you to do this. Many modern browsers also have a 'Private Browsing' function that will only allow cookies to be stored for the single browsing session you are in; this is an efficient way to retain the functionality of the site yet stop any cookies being stored when you are done.

We currently do not have a way to offer you a cookie free site nor to allow you to switch them on or off on our site, but we are working on improving our cookie functionality in line with recent legislation.
