  1. How do I use the online store?

    Shopping with us is easy. We have designed our site to be as simple as possible, and hope you find it so. To begin shopping with us, you can find your item in a number of ways:

    • The quickest is by using the search tool at the top of the page, just type in the brand, type or model number of the item you are looking for and click the search button, or press enter.
    • You can also browse all the items we have on the site by product category. You will find these on the top and left of your screen. In some cases, there are sub-categories to choose from once you click on the main product type.

    Once you have found the item you are looking for, you can click on the image for more details about it, and to find out about it's non-UK delivery charges. If you would like to buy the item, click 'Add to basket' and the product will be sent to your shopping basket at the top of your screen. You can add as many items as you like to your basket by repeating these steps.

    When have finished shopping and would like to complete your purchase, click on the view basket button. This will take you to a check-out screen. Your order value will be confirmed, and on the next screens you will be asked to log in or register as a new customer. Once you complete this page and press the complete order button, you order is sent to us. You will receive an e-mail confirming the purchase you have made. It's as simple as that!

  2. Are my credit card details safe with electricshopping.ie?

    At electricshopping.ie we take your security very seriously. We use the strongest available encryption technology to keep your details safe. Our secure servers are monitored 24 hours a day, 7 days a week to ensure that our systems and data are not compromised. That's why shopping with us can be safer than shopping on the high street!

  3. How long will it take to receive my order?

    Delivery to anywhere in Ireland takes just three to five working days. You can help us get your order to you as quickly as possible by providing as full an address as you can

  4. Can I track my order?

    We have made it easy for you to track your order with us. To do so, log into your account, and select the order you wish to track. You will then be able to see where it is in our processes, and if it has been despatched. If we have a tracking number for you, this will also be made available.

    Delivery across Ireland is only €4.99 for any size order.

  7. What is the electricshopping.ie returns policy, and how can I return an item?

    The electricshopping.ie returns and refunds policy is in accordance with the EU distance selling directive which outlines your rights to cancel your order. If you are unhappy with your purchase from us we will of course offer you a refund as long as your item is sent back in an unused and unopened condition. For reasons of hygiene, we will not be able to accept or refund any items from our personal hygiene/care or food preparation lines that have been used. If any item is damaged we will replace it free of charge for you.

    If you do decide to return your item, you will need to contact customer services quoting your receipt number before you send back your item. We will then issue you with a returns authorisation and advise you of the returns address for your item. Once we have received your item in our returns processing department you will be issued with a refund or an exchange where appropriate. Please note however, that as we do not charge for delivery on UK purchases, a delivery cost recovery fee will be deducted from your refund if returned after the cooling off period has expired; this is in accordance with EU law. Refunds for damaged items will not be charged this fee if a replacement is issued.

  8. How do you use the details I provide you? Will you sell them on?

    Any information you provide us with is used only to fulfil your order and for electricshopping.ie's sole marketing purposes. Your phone number may be given to the delivery agent to help expedite your delivery. However, we will never pass on any of your details to another organisation that does not directly deal with your purchase from us or sell them on. You value your privacy - we do too.

  9. My basket always shows as empty when I click 'proceed to checkout'. Why is this?

    Our store's systems need to place a small amount of data on your computer to identify you as a customer and to 'remember' your selected items. This data packet is called a 'cookie'. If your browser is set to high privacy settings, or to disallow cookies, the shopping basket feature will not work. You are welcome to place you order by phone on 01 657 1494 or you can temporarily reduce your browser's cookie handling policy.
